Meet Ms. Krissy – Director of Oakland CDC
Ms. Krissy has been a beloved part of the Oakland CDC family for nearly 20 years. Throughout her time here, she’s brought her passion and expertise to every classroom — from infants to school-age children — and cherishes each age group. Now stepping into her role as director, Krissy is excited to lead Oakland into a bright future. At home, she’s married to the love of her life and mom to two- including one very special “child,” her pit bull mix, Libby. With her deep roots at Oakland and love for early childhood education, Krissy is ready to take the center to new heights!

Built in 1998 and located on the campus of Oakland Academy, we offer convenient before and after-school care for students. Our open-concept center has no closed doors, providing a full visual experience for both parents and children when they enter. We also have a fenced-in playground that backs up to a wooded lot, where you can often spot wild turkeys and deer. Additionally, we offer a fantastic summer program and care during school holiday breaks for school-age children. We're right off the I-94 Oakland Drive exit, making us easy to reach!
